You may have noticed that I've been writing more self-care posts. For the past few months, I've come across a number of bloggers who have expressed the stress and anxiety that comes along with being a blogger. I'm glad that so many bloggers are stepping forward and letting others know that this business isn't always sunshine and rainbows. It's easy to get caught up in the 6 figure income reports, and traffic reports with 100,000 monthly pageviews.
The truth is, that's not the norm.
Most bloggers aren't earning that kind of money or receiving that type of traffic. But when you think they are, and that you're the only one who's not, you put yourself down, you wonder why you're doing this in the first place, and you want to give up.
So while I love sharing advice for growing your blog, I also want to write content that promotes taking care of yourself in the midst of building your blog, because that's important too. Actually, that's the most important.
