As a graphic designer, because I use most of my creations for commercial purposes (free resources typically can’t be used for commercial projects), I’ve become accustomed to paying for my design resources. However, when I’m designing for fun, I love browsing the internet for free design resources.
In this post, I’m sharing 9 of my favorite places to find free design resources. As always, whenever you’re downloading resources online, be sure to read the licensing agreement.
Design Bundles
If you’re interested in downloading cute and modern free graphics, Design Bundles has a page dedicated to showcasing their current selection of free design resources. New items are added regularly. Additionally, these deals do expire, so if you see something you like, make sure you download it before it expires!
Font Bundles
Check out Font Bundles for exclusive deals on premium and free fonts. As with Design Bundles, all fonts are available to use for your personal and commercial projects.
FreePik
I love using FreePik for printable resources. I’m able to download printable templates, illustrations, and more. I actually pay for the yearly subscription that allows me to download unlimited resources for commercial use. This is one of my favorite purchases of the year!
Craft Bundles
Craft Bundles offers a free bundle along with a wide collection of SVG and DFX cut files all available for instant download.
The Hungry JPEG
I often purchase font bundles from the Hungry JPEG. Only recently did I discover that they also offer free design resources. They have a nice collection of free fonts, mockups, illustrations, and stock photos.
Creative Market Free Goods of the Week
I love Creative Market. I actually offer my feminine WordPress themes on Creative Market. Every week, Creative Market offers a beautiful selection of free design elements. These elements range from free WordPress themes to free fonts and graphics.
PSDDD
Psddd offers free Photoshop icons, devices (such as iPhone mockups), elements, kits, and other templates.
Freebies Bug
Freebies Bug has a huge collection of free PSD files, illustrations, sketches, and fonts. They also provide free resources for developers like tutorials, plugins, and frameworks.
Free Design Resources
A few weeks ago I discovered Free Design Resources. This site has become one of my go-to resources for free design elements. Free Design Resources has a beautiful collection of free fonts, templates, icons, mockups, graphics, and more.
