To “glow up” is to have a physical and mental transformation for the better. The thing I love about glow-up culture is that it inspires people to work on bettering themselves in different ways.
Whether it’s eating healthy, taking care of your skin, or working on your mental well-being, we can all benefit from doing these positive habits.
Some people see glowing up as a physical change only. However, I believe that a true glow-up is so much more than that. It’s about taking care of your mind, body, and soul.

1. Set Realistic Expectations
The first step of transforming your life is having a realistic outlook on what you want and how much work it will take to get there. For example, if your goal is to lose weight, you’ll want to set an attainable and healthy weight loss goal.
Take a little time to write down what your goals are and a realistic timeline for achieving those goals.
Along with writing down your goals, make sure you include your motivation behind wanting to achieve these things. Having a reason for why you’re doing this will keep you motivated on your glow-up journey.

We are often our worst critics. Doing things to improve your outer appearance means nothing if you don’t love yourself. The thing about self-love is that it doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time and commitment.

For many people, their teeth are a big insecurity. I personally love teeth that aren’t “perfect” because they make you stand out as an individual. I’ve never gotten braces for my teeth and I don’t plan to.
However, I do like having white teeth. Thankfully, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to have white teeth. Baking soda is a natural teeth whitener. Simply mix equal parts baking soda and water in a bowl and mix until you have a paste.
12. Take Care of Your Skin
