As a general rule, always backup your WordPress site before uploading a theme or plugin. That way, if anything goes wrong, you can revert. If you have made changes to the themes core files, they will be overridden when you update.
Log in to your account to download the latest version of your theme. You can use the Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades plugin to update your theme. Once you activate the plugin, simply upload the theme as if you were installing it, and the plugin will automatically handle upgrading as needed.
