In this tutorial you’ll learn how to set up the slideshow used in your template. In this tutorial I’m using Photobucket. Feel free to use the image hosting site of your choice.
This tutorial includes an affiliate link.
1). The first thing you want to do is make sure you have your images ready.
Using an image editing program such as PicMonkey, crop and size your images to 960×400 pixels. If your images aren’t properly cropped and resized, they will appear distorted in the slideshow.
2). Once your images have been prepared, upload them to an image hosting website such as Photobucket.
3). Leaving your image hosting site open, in a new window or tab head over to Blogger and in your dashboard go to Layout.
4). Select Edit on the Slider gadget
<ul class="slideshow"> <li><img src="Your Direct Link Goes Here" /></li> <li><img src="Your Direct Link Goes Here" /></li> <li><img src="Your Direct Link Goes Here" /></li> </ul>
To add more photos than listed above, copy and paste the following code as many times as needed before the </ul>:
<li><img src="Your Direct Link Goes Here" /></li>
6). Going back to Photobucket, copy the direct link of your image and paste it where it says Your Direct Link Goes Here (keep it between the quotation marks). Do this for each image.
7). The finished link should look something like this:
<li><img src="http://i1079.photobucket.com/albums/w506/beautifuldawndesigns/ceramic-cup.jpg" /></li>
8). Save your changes.
