Make the Butter (using the color banana)
To begin Ch 9
Row 1: Place 1 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook and each ch across. Ch 1 and turn. (8 sts)
Rows 2-5: Hdc in each st across. Ch 1 and turn. (8 sts)
After you complete the final row, with your yarn still attached, ch 1 and sc around the butter. Whenever you reach a corner, place 3 sts in the corner. When you arrive back at the corner where you started, place 3 sts in that corner.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the butter onto the RS of one slice of toast.
Attach and Make the Crust
Place the two slices of toast on top of each other. We’re going to sc the pieces together using the color bark.
Note: It can be difficult to see your stitches when crocheting along the sides. Just do your best here. The stitch count is not important.
Round 1: Attach your yarn to the bottom right corner of the two toast slices, ch 1 and place 2 sc sts in the same stitch. Sc up the side of the toast.

– Continue to sc in each st along the top of the toast. Whenever you reach the stitch marker in the 7 tr group, place 3 sc sts in the same st.
– Continue to sc along the other side of the toast. When you reach the bottom corner, place 3 sc sts in the corner st.
– Continue to sc along the bottom of the toast. When you reach the corner where you started, work 1 sc in the corner space, then sl st to the first sc. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Make a Hanging Loop: Attach your yarn to the desired location of the hanging loop. Ch 10 and sl st in the same st. Fasten off and weave in ends.
