Materials:
- 1 Lily Sugar ‘N Cream cotton yarn. I used the colors Jewels Ombre and Hot Purple.
- US size H 5.0 mm crochet hook
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Size (approximate): 4.25” x 4” (fits a standard 12 fl oz can)
Pattern Notes:
- We’ll be working in continuous rounds. Do not join at the end of your rounds.
Abbreviations (US):
ch – chain
st(s) – stitch(es)
sc – single crochet
sc blo – single crochet back loop only
sc flo – single crochet front loop only
sl st – slip stitch

Can Cozy Crochet Pattern
To begin Ch 2
Round 1: Work 6 sc into the 2nd chain from the hook. (6 sts)
Remember to place your stitch marker in the 1st stitch of each round. This will help you keep track of when you’re starting a new round.
Round 2: Inc in each stitch around. (12 sts)
Round 3: *Inc, sc in next st.* Repeat from * to * around. (18 sts)
Round 4: *Inc, sc in next 2 sts.* Repeat from * to * around. (24 sts)
Round 5: *Inc, sc in next 3 sts.* Repeat from * to * around. (30 sts)
Round 6: *Inc, sc in next 4 sts.* Repeat from * to * around. (36 sts)
Round 7: Sc blo in each st around. (36 sts)
Round 8: *Work 1 sc blo in st, work 1 sc flo in next st.* Repeat from * to * around.
Round 9: *Work 1 sc flo in st, work 1 sc blo in next st.* Repeat from * to * around.
Repeat Rounds 8 and 9 (in that order) until you have completed a total of 21 rounds. If you want a shorter cozy, you can reduce the number of rounds.
Round 22: Place 1 sc in each st around. Sl st into the first 2 sts of the next round, fasten off and weave in the yarn.
