When January arrives, that means it’s a new year and time for a fresh start.
It also means it’s time to start planning out your theme for your January bullet journal spreads.

Happy New Year Countdown
What better way to kick off the new year than with a countdown New Year’s cover page?
Even though this design is for 2018, you can easily adjust the date to the current year. I love how celebratory this spread looks.
Mood and Habit Tracker
These mood and habit trackers would work well for the New Year because of the gold star theme.
At least, that’s what comes to mind when I see it. Definitely the perfect January spreads. You can draw your own stars or use stickers.
This January cover includes plants growing in a terrarium.
Some plants that you can add to your terrarium are the baby tears plant, air plants and succulents. I love the simplicity of this cover page.
Bees and Honeycomb
This simple January cover page includes honeycomb and bees. I love the simple addition of washi tape to help add a little something extra to the design.
If you love bees, you should definitely give this spread a try.
Black and Yellow Flowers
Here’s a simple cover page that anyone can do. It features simple hand drawn flowers, crosses and diamonds.
Additionally, the title has a tape border that goes really well with the overall design. You could do a similar spread using your choice of colors.
Pink and Red Roses
I could be wrong, but this design looks like stencils were used to create the rose designs.
Stencils are a great tool for adding designs to your bullet journal. Another thing I like about this spread is the handwriting. It’s really gorgeous.
This simplistic spread is perfect for anyone looking for something on the minimalist side. These types of spreads are especially popular for the New Year.

This isn’t a cover page, but a small January calendar for your weekly planner.
If your monthly theme will include stars, this is a good design to use as inspiration for your spread.
Moon and Clouds
If you’re looking for a simple and creative calendar idea for your journal, I think you’ll love this one.
The blue and gold color combination goes perfect with the sky theme.
This spread is filled with fun winter doodles perfect for the month of January. There are warm clothes, ice skates, candles and more.
Pink and Purple Clouds
This soft pink and purple cloud theme is so lovely. The flying airplane adds a special touch; however, you can create your cover page with or without the airplane.
This cover page has a great winter vibe. I love the colors used here, and how nice the wreath looks.
For your cover page, you can draw different flowers and use different colors.
Hand with Flowers

Stars and Constellations
This is one of my favorite cover pages in this collection.
If you’re a fan of constellations or astrology, consider using this page for inspiration for your constellation or astrology themed spread.
Here’s the perfect New Years spread. The golden stars and lettering along with this clinking glasses gives this page New Years vibes.
You can easily change the year to the current year.
Hello January Fireworks
I think that fireworks are so fitting for January spreads because it’s the new year. January is a time for celebration and making new years resolutions.
This cover page features a colorful array for floral elements. The blue, pink and orange color palette goes so well together.
This design would work great for any month of the year.
Moon and Stars
The colors used for this design go so well together. Plus, I love the addition of the gold stars.
You could place star stickers on your page to give it a similar look.
New Year Cover Page
Bring in the New Year with a themed cover page. I think that this cover page would look great as the first page in your bullet journal.
Adjust your colors to your favorite color palette.
Rainbow and Diamonds
If you’re looking for a simple spread, try your hands at this one that features a pastel rainbow theme with diamonds and bubbles scattered throughout.
Pink and Blue Flowers
This cover page is similar to the one posted above, but the artist has added their own twist to the design.
You can do the same by changing up your flowers or colors.
Here’s a simple cover page that uses a variety of triangle designs. You can do something similar, but switch it up by using different colors and shapes.
Here’s another design that has fireworks and I really love it. You could make this your own by changing up the colors or font used for your spread.
The art used for this January cover page is stunning.
I personally wouldn’t be able to draw hands so nicely, but I would love to do something like this in my own bullet journal.
I just love this cover page that features four cute little llamas. Not only are the llamas cute, but the color palette used is really nice too.
I also love the accessories on the llamas.
