Chunky Fireside Throw Crochet Blanket Pattern

I’m so happy to share this beginner-friendly pattern for my Fireside Throw crochet blanket. This chunky blanket is made using the griddle stitch, which means it has just the right amount of texture and is super easy to make.

You can find the full free pattern below, or you can purchase the ad-free printable version from my Etsy shop.

Fireside Throw Sizing Notes

The Fireside blanket is 48″ x 60″, which makes it a nice throw blanket. I just love throw blankets for snuggling up on the couch and watching a good movie or reading a book.

What I love about this blanket is that you can easily make it as big or small as you want. Just be sure to chain an odd number of chains, then follow the crochet pattern until your blanket is the size you want.

Below I’ve included a blanket sizing guide to assist you in finding the right size for your blanket.
