I chose Lion Brand Landscapes yarn for this project because it’s incredibly soft, and I think the variegated colors work perfectly for this stitch pattern. That said, feel free to use your choice of worsted weight yarn for your blanket.

Materials:
- Lion Brand Landscapes 147yds #4 worsted weight yarn in color Boardwalk. Lapghan Size: 11 skeins and Throw Size: 18 skeins
- US size H 5.0 mm crochet hook
- Stitch markers (optional)
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Sizes (approximate): 36” x 48” (Lapghan Size) and 48” x 60” (Throw Size)
Follow the key throughout the pattern based on the size blanket you are crocheting: (Lapghan, Throw)
Gauge (4in x 4in): Approximately 4 clusters (sc, ch, dc) and 7 rows
Size Adjustment: To adjust the width of your blanket, start with a longer or shorter chain. The pattern has a chain multiple of 4 plus 2 stitches. If you want to adjust the size of your blanket, chain in multiples of 4 and add 2 stitches to that. For example, if you were to chain 16, you would then add 2 stitches for a total of 18.
Make sure you keep your yarn needs in mind when adjusting the size of your blanket.

Pattern Notes:
- The chain 1 does not count as a stitch.
- If you have trouble identifying the first or last stitch of the row, use stitch markers to help you keep track.
Abbreviations (US):
ch – chain
st(s) – stitch(es)
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
