Simple Coaster Crochet Pattern

This simple coaster crochet pattern is one of my favorites when I want something easy that I can finish without much thought. The double crochet stitch keeps the rhythm steady, so it’s great if you’re still getting comfortable reading patterns or just want a relaxed project.

You can find the free pattern below, or you can purchase the ad-free printable PDF from my shop.

I was able to finish one coaster in about 15 minutes, which made it easy to squeeze in between other projects. It’s the kind of pattern I come back to when I want to keep my hands busy without having to focus too much on the pattern.

I also enjoy playing with color when making these coasters. Using different shades makes each one feel a little different, even though the pattern stays the same. They’re small enough that I can use leftover yarn, which helps clear out my stash.
